The boat ride from shore to the Island will take about 45 minutes, ride along the coast enjoying the breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean and the Nicoya Península. During the boat ride, you may encounter cheerfully dolphins, jumping manta rays, primitive turtles and in some cases while in season humpback & pilot whales. Upon arrival at Tortuga Island, enjoy time snorkeling in the volcanic rock reef surrounded by crystalline waters, home of Angelfish, Porcupine fish, Spotted Eagle Rays among other tropical species.
